The Millionaires opened their season at the Williamsport Soccer Complex with a 3-1 victory over the Wildcats from Central Mountain on Senior Night last night.  The visitors began the game with the ball, but junior Jimmy Pombor and his midfield mates quickly gained possession and set the tone early.  Sophomore Zach Lake lit up the scoreboard first for the Millionaires when he outhustled his defender on a perfectly placed through ball by Pombor just two minutes into the game.  Fifteen minutes later, sophomore Owen Kaar served up a beautiful corner kick and junior Logan Hall blasted it into the back of the net for a two goal advantage.  Finally, with just over five minutes to play in the first half, Jimmy Pombor attracted several defenders and once again found a way to get Zach Lake the ball inside the eighteen for Lake's second goal of the night.

Williamsport gave up a penalty with under eight minutes to play in the game for Central Mountain's lone goal.

The JV team battled to a 0-0 tie.

The Millionaires play again Saturday morning at 11:00 at the Williamsport Soccer Complex as they host Loyalsock.
