Williamsport Soccer Complex - The boy’s soccer team gritted out a victory against the Cougars from Hazleton in a non-league matchup.
Midway through the first half, junior captain, Spencer Kaar, converted a penalty kick to put the Millionaires in the lead.
Williamsport got strong play in the midfield from many players including juniors Connor Hofstrom and Isaac Balza as well as stifling defense from captain Charles Plummer and sophomores Brock Lehr and Caleb Shultz.
The Millionaires have another big challenge ahead of them Saturday when State College visits the Williamsport Soccer Complex.
