Congratulations to the football team, as they win their final regular season game over Wilkes-Barre Area HS, 34-20.  The Millionaires earned the #2 seed for the District II/IV Class 6A tournament and will host #3 seed, the Hazleton Cougars, in the semifinal round on Friday, November 1^st at 7:00 p.m. here at WAHS.  Gates will open for the public at 5:30 p.m. for the game.

            There will be an admission charge for this game, tickets must be purchased ahead of time on the district II website.  There will not be cash or credit card options at the game, only tickets purchased in advance will be accepted for admission to this playoff game.  

1. Regular season student and adult/family passes will not be accepted at this PIAA playoff match.
2. Senior Citizens, age 65 and over, are admitted free of charge, with proof of age for the district II playoff game.
