Boys Varsity Tennis vs. Multiple Opponents

District 4/6 AAA Doubles Tournament at Altoona
On Tuesday, May 2nd, Williamsport took two doubles teams to represent at the District Doubles Tournament in Altoona, Pa.
Williamsport’s first doubles team consisted of number 1 player for our varsity line-up, Shreshth Singh, and number 3 player on the team, Owen Kaar. Singh and Kaar lost in the first round to Central Mountain’s number 1 doubles duo, Asher Talbot and Nate Brinker.
Evan Beiter and Ben Manetta made up our second doubles team. Beiter/Manetta won in their first round of tournament play over Mifflin County’s Luke Grove and Gunnar Wagner, fairly easily with a score of 6-1, 6-0. They then moved on to compete in the quarterfinals where they would lose to number 3 seed, Luke Mitchell and Logan Moser.
