The Millionaire varsity softball team defeated Danville 16-9 Wednesday on the road. Brenna Beck went 5 for 5 with a HR, a 2B, and 6 RBIs, Bailey Livermore hit a 3-run HR, and Katelyn Solomon and Zaelana Minor both had multiple hits to lead the Millionaires in hitting, who totaled 14 hits. Bailey Livermore pitched the complete game striking out 8. The team is now 2-0 on the season.
The next game for the Millionaire varsity and JV teams is this Saturday where both teams host Tunkhannock this Saturday at 11 am and 1 pm, respectively in the annual Blackout Game.
