WAHS Girls opened their season at home with a 4-1 win over Selinsgrove High School. Senior Kayla Bloch defeated Kylie Haines 6-3, 6-3. The heat and a tough competitor in Alexis Hoot led to Gabby McQuillen's loss at the two spot: 2-6, 1-6. Audrey Dincher had a decisive victory at #3 over Miah Bassler, 6-1, 6-2. At #1 Doubles, Williamsport's Eden Huff and Peyton Kelley quickly defeated Berkeley Fertig and Ashley Lehman 6-1, 6-0. And the #2 team of Sophomore Maddy Lundy and Senior Shyla Montoya battled point for point to a 7-6 (7-5), 6-4 win over Talia Monesy and Natalya Kline.
