The boys' soccer team picked up another win last night when they topped Danville 2-1. Danville got on the scoreboard first early in the half, but Williamsport continued to use their team speed to their advantage as they pressured Danville's defensive unit. Senior captain, Connor Poole, blasted an equalizing goal when he popped a right footed turn around shot from just outside the 18-yard line. Poole then scored what ended up being the game winner with a left-footed pop from outside the box - Angelo Casas was credited with the assist.
The Williamsport JV team improved their record to 8-1-1 on the season with last night's victory over Danville.
Both JV and Varsity teams will be in action again next Wednesday when they travel to Shamokin.
